  • Description

Diameter: 5 - 120 mm

Length: 500 - 3000 mm

Tolerance: + - 0.03

Density: Approximately 7.64 g/cm³

Conductivity: 7% - 10% IACS

Tensile strength: Approximately 550 - 650 MPa

Aluminum (Al): 8.0 - 10.0%

The product is applied in the manufacturing of mechanical parts, such as bearings, machine tool accessories, screws, nuts, etc.

Strength and toughness: The tensile strength of aluminum bronze typically ranges from 500 to 900 MPa, the yield strength is 200 to 600 MPa, and the elongation rate is within the range of 10% to 25%, enabling it to withstand high loads while also having a certain degree of plastic deformation capability.

Corrosion resistance: Aluminum bronze exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in seawater and acidic environments, and is particularly suitable for use in ship propellers and chemical equipment.

Key points for processing and treatment

Forming process: The recommended temperature for hot forging is 850-950℃. Avoiding low-temperature forging to prevent cracking; when casting, using metal molds or centrifugal casting can reduce pores.

Heat treatment: Solution treatment (water quenching at 850℃) combined with tempering (450-550℃) can further enhance strength, but excessive oxidation of aluminum must be prevented.
