  • Description

High conductivity and heat conductivity C18150 chromium-zirconium copper rod spot welding machine electrode special material

Product surface description: Smooth without burrs

Sales method: In stock

Length: 3510mm

Specification: 10 - 65mm

Performance: Corrosion-resistant, high oxidation resistance, high temperature resistance

The heat-conducting C18150 chromium-zirconium copper rod boasts outstanding wear resistance, extending the lifespan of the electrode.

During resistance welding (spot welding, seam welding) processes, the electrode head repeatedly undergoes high pressure and friction. Ordinary copper electrodes are prone to wear and deformation, requiring frequent replacement. However, the heat-conducting C18150 chromium-zirconium copper rod, due to its inclusion of strengthening elements such as Cr and Zr, significantly increases its hardness (HRB 75-85), making it 3-5 times more wear-resistant than pure copper, thereby greatly reducing the frequency of replacement and costs.

Resistant to high-temperature softening, ensuring more stable welding

During welding, the local temperature can reach above 600℃. Ordinary copper will rapidly soften at high temperatures, causing the electrode to deform and fail. However, the re-crystallization temperature of the heat-conducting C18150 chromium-zirconium copper rod is as high as 500℃. Even under long-term high-temperature operation, it can maintain high strength, ensuring stable welding quality.

High conductivity C18150 chromium-zirconium copper rod: Maintains a conductivity of ≥ 75% IACS (measured at 44 MS/m), has excellent thermal conductivity, and meets the heat dissipation requirements for high-frequency current and heat flow-intensive applications.
