The easy-to-machine tellurium bronze plate (an easy-to-machine copper alloy) is a bronze alloy formed by using copper as the base material and adding a small amount of tellurium. It possesses excellent cutting performance and electrical/thermal conductivity.

Cutting performance

The addition of tellurium significantly reduces the cutting resistance of the easily machinable tellurium bronze plate (by 30% - 50% compared to pure copper), and the surface finish is high, making it suitable for precision turning, milling, and other processing requirements.

Mechanical properties

Strength: Tensile strength 200-300 MPa, elongation 15%-25%;

Hardness: HB60-90;

Corrosion resistance: The te copper plate is stable in dry atmosphere and non-oxidizing media. It requires surface protection in environments with sulfur and chloride ions.
