The high-temperature resistant copper-tungsten alloy plate has excellent high-temperature resistance properties. Its softening temperature range is usually between 1800 and 3000 degrees Celsius, enabling it to maintain structural stability in extremely high-temperature environments.

High-temperature resistance characteristic

The high-temperature resistance of the high-temperature resistant copper-tungsten alloy plate mainly relies on the high melting point of tungsten (about 3400℃) and the heat conduction assistance of copper. At high temperatures, the copper will partially melt and evaporate, absorbing heat to lower the surface temperature of the material and further enhancing the anti-ablation ability. For example, WCu75 (containing 75% tungsten) can still maintain its size stability above 3000℃ without melting or evaporating.

Application scenario

High-temperature resistant copper-tungsten alloy plates are widely used in fields such as high-voltage electrical contacts, aerospace high-temperature components, and electrical machining electrodes. For example, they are used in rocket nozzles and missile counterweights, and can continue to operate in high-temperature environments without failure.
