The high-hardness Tungsten copper electrode, a wear-resistant electrode made of Tungsten copper alloy, is suitable for spot welding and butt welding of copper rods. It possesses excellent electrical conductivity and high-temperature stability, and is applicable to scenarios such as electrical processing electrodes and high-temperature molds.

Tungsten copper alloy rods can be used to make electrode rods, and are mainly applied in fields such as resistance welding, electrical discharge machining, and high-voltage discharge tubes.

Specific Application

‌Resistance Welding Electrode‌

The Tungsten copper alloy rod combines the high melting point and high hardness of tungsten with the conductivity of copper, making it suitable for conducting electricity and heat in high-temperature environments. It is commonly used in processes such as protrusion welding and butt welding, and features characteristics such as resistance to arc erosion and high wear resistance.

Electrical discharge machining electrode

When processing Tungsten copper alloy rods, there is low loss and high precision, which can improve processing efficiency. It is especially suitable for electrical erosion processing of ultra-hard alloy molds.

High-voltage discharge tube electrodes

When exposed to temperatures of several thousand degrees Celsius within a few tenths of a second, the ablative resistance and excellent conductivity of the Tungsten copper alloy rods can ensure the stability of the discharge.

Manufacturing process and performance

The Tungsten copper alloy rods are produced through a combination of powder metallurgy and mechanical processing, with a density ranging from 16.5 to 18.75 g/cm³. The conductivity, hardness, and density indicators all meet industry standards. Common models such as CUW85 (containing 85% tungsten) are suitable for aerospace and electronic packaging applications.
